Texts may generally be classified as falling within one of Buddha's three turnings of the wheel of dharma. It has ten chapters dedicated to the development of bodhicitta (the mind of enlightenment) through the practice of the six perfections.

| Mahakala Puja - Tuesday, May 05, 2009DAILY PRACTICE Every morning the Green Tara puja and every evening the Mahakala puja is performed by Lama Kunga Phuntsok. He is a resident monk at Sakya Tharpa Ling, trained at Bir monastery, India. He has completed his study of Buddhist philosophy at Sakya college, Dehra dun, equiavalent to a madhiyamaka degree. He is well-trained in monastic ritual. He has great kindness and compassion, so anybody who is in need of a helpful prayer such as Green Tara or the Mahakala puja for eliminating their obstacles and protection can call the centre to enquire.
